If your child is absent from school because of illness, please contact the school on the first day of the absence and provide the following information:
* Your child's first and last name
* Your child's grade and homeroom teacher
* The date
* Symptoms of influenza like illness: i.e. fever greater than 100° F, cough sore throat

Flu Vaccination Information
On November 3rd, the Howard County Health Department, in cooperation with the Howard County Public School system, will be offering influenza vaccinations to our students. If you would like your child to receive the FluMist, a nasal spray vaccination, please return your child’s permission form. The permission form will be sent home with your child in the beginning of October; please check the newsletter and email for updated infomation.
